For the first pages, I chose to use the pages from the book to make an envelope that looks like the acceptance letter from Harry Potter, and I added a Hogwarts wax seal that's only attached to the top flap so it can still be opened like a real letter. on the left side I went over the address in an emerald green ink like how it was written in the movie and how the book describes. On the inside of the envelope I made an almost identical copy of the acceptance letter that can be removed, but I addressed the letter to myself and personalized the contents. This is a closer look at the wax seal I used on the outside of the letter. On the next two pages I remade another letter from the movie called a "Howler." When opened this letter almost comes to life and yells the contents of it, the paper is made to look like the teeth and the red envelope is like the mouth. For the first two pages of my cutout I decided to use Quidditch as my theme. The gold ball with wings is called the snitch which needs to be caught in order to win the game, and its Harry's job as his teams seeker to catch this ball. On the left page I have a small drawing of Harry trying to catch the snitch, and that tall pole with a circle is a goal used by other players to score extra points with a different ball. Since the game is played on broomsticks in the air, I made the sky light with clouds all around him. For the next pages of my cutout, I made the left page almost the opposite of the vibe in the first pages. In one of the movies, these creatures called dementors are roaming the school in search of a criminal that escaped Azkaban (the wizarding world version of prison). They suck the happiness out of people, and during one of the games there is a very bad thunder storm and while Harry is chasing the snitch to try and catch it, he comes in contact with the dementors so I wanted to depict that scene on this page. On the right page is the golden snitch again, and along the bottom of the page are the different houses or teams from hogwarts.
